What is this?

Hi. My name’s Becca. I’m a wanderer—I’ve lived across 4 continents in 4 years. I write things. Non-fiction personal essays and meanderings, but also poetry.

What I write about:

  • Poetics. Mythology. Spirituality—yes, they are connected.

  • Embodiment. Trauma, Mental Health, Illness, Abuse.

  • Philosophy and Ethics. Transhumanism, Technospace, Sci-Fi.

  • Ecology, Herbal Medicine and Plants, and Climate Emergency.

  • Feminism. Have a penchant for materialist/eco/socialist feminist analysis.

  • Travelogue place-writing.

I also take photos. Images found on my stack are my work, and in the case of photos of public murals/graffiti, I credit the artist, if possible.

Why Subscribe?

Why not? I promise it will be way weirder than a lot of content out there. I’ve been living out of a backpack (I have a suitcase, too) for 4 years. I meet wild people, visit off-the-tourist-circuit places, and write about what it’s like there. I write about my eccentric life.

For the moment, I’m going to make this a free-for-all. It isn’t because I don’t value my writing. It’s because sharing stories is important. If you are financially able to support me and my writing—even if it’s $5—I entreat you to do so. You will be helping me afford simple, nourishing food, basic housing, and other bare essentials like medicine and soap. Your support is invaluable and deeply appreciated.

I have Kofi (which takes credit cards and ApplePay) here. I’m striving to keep most of my writing and content free access for those, like me, struggling to keep their noses above the rising water.
