What is this?

Hi. My name’s Becca. I’m a wandering feminist, and I do mean wandering. I’ve lived across 4 continents in 4 years. I write things. Non-fiction personal essays and meanderings, but also poetry.

What I write about:

• Feminism, obvs. Have a penchant for materialist/eco/socialist feminist analysis.

• Philosophy and Ethics. This topic trends towards feminism. Obvs.

• Poetics. Mythology. Spirituality. Yes, they are connected.

• Transhumanism, Technospace, Sci-Fi.

• Ecology, Herbal Medicine and Plants, and the Climate Emergency.

• Trauma, Mental Health, Illness, Abuse.

• Patriarchy.

• Embodiment.

• Travelogue place-writing.

I also take photos and am considering making audio recordings, music, and more.

Why Subscribe?

Why not? I promise it will be way more interesting and weirder than a lot of content out there. I’ve been living out of a backpack (ok, I have a suitcase, too) for nearly two years. I meet wild people, visit off-the-tourist track places, and write about what it’s like to be there. Write about my eccentric life. I will definitely share the story of when I was electrocuted on a remote Thai island.

For now, I’m going to make this a free-for-all. It isn’t because I don’t value my writing. It’s because building feminist consciousness through sharing stories is important. If you are financially able to support me and my writing—even if it’s $5—I entreat you to do so. You will be helping me afford simple, nourishing food, basic housing, and other bare essentials like medicine and soap.
